Little Armory LA044 AUG

The AUG is an automatic rifle developed in Austria in the 1970s, the early days of the bullpup rifle. The bullpup structure, which combines the length and compactness of the barrel by housing the mechanism in the part equivalent to the stock, was being researched and developed in various countries at the time, but the AUG incorporates the features of lightweight construction and the use of plastic parts. The module can be changed to a machine gun type or submachine type by replacing it according to the purpose, and it can be easily replaced in the event of a malfunction. This design, which was conscious of its use as a military gun, gave it the name “Armee Universal Gewehr = Army General-Purpose Rifle”.
The kit reproduces the basic military model AUG A1 with a built-in scope and 20-inch barrel. It uses an OD receiver and clear magazine.
