Little Armory LA046 5.56mm Machine gun

This firearm, which the Self-Defense Forces have adopted under the name “5.56mm Minimi machine gun,” is a model produced under license in Japan of the Belgian-made FN-MINIMI. It is a firearm that can fire the same ammunition as the Type 89 rifle, the main rifle, and is widely used in a variety of applications, from portable machine guns for infantry units to vehicle-mounted guns on light armored vehicles and door guns for the UH-1.
